Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you receive a notice of material being taken down due to a copyright infringement claim, you may provide a counter notification to attempt to have the material restored. This notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. A description of the material that was taken down and its original location before it was removed;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your location (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service from the person or company who provided the original infringement notification.
